"i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart)" - e.e. cummings
This poem is often described as one of the most talked about poems in modern times. Cummings focuses on the power and unity of love, and how it connects not only the two individuals in that relationship, but the world at large. This tile, with his bold stylistic heart encasing a similar heart, is a subtle and powerful expression of the speaker in this poem; he is completely in love with his significant other and feels such a unity with the heart of the significant other, that the experience is one of holding another heart inside the one we already have.
The quote begins on left side and finishes on right- author noted on top. Each Spiritile is made from copper, glass and wood. They can hang on a wall or stand alone, and will never fade or tarnish.
Houston Llew believes that meaningful art is about emotion. Thus, every Spiritile created reflects a piece of his story. These icons stretch our memory and bring to mind the people we love, the things we cherish, and the passions we pursue. When collected, Spiritiles become a montage of moments that make us smile, laugh, remember, and dare to dream.
